Dr. Stewart serves as the Cotton IPM Specialist at The University of Tennessee.  Producers and other agricultural professionals are the primary clientele of his extension program.  The majority of his time is spent developing educational materials and conducting applied research and demonstration programs concerning best management practices for cotton insect control.  Dr. Stewart also has responsibilities related to extension entomology programs for soybean and other row crops.  Common activities include writing publications, presenting educational programs, evaluating various IPM control practices, and troubleshooting on-farm insect control problems.
